I'm finishing high school soon and I'm really excited about starting a career as a full stack developer. I've dabbled in HTML a bit since I was 15, and even worked on a small project, but I still feel lost on where to begin. What are the essential steps I should take to become a full stack developer? Also, I'm curious if I should consider cybersecurity instead of full stack development. Any advice would be appreciated!

Getting a computer science degree is probably the easiest starting point for most, although it's not the only path. It can really help you get your foot in the door with industry connections and a structured learning environment. If you're going for a BCA degree, that's a solid choice and it will definitely help you! But remember, whether you choose full stack or cybersecurity, it's important to follow your interests. Do you prefer creating things or focusing on security?
Yeah, a degree helps a lot, but don’t get discouraged if you can’t get one right away. Lots of successful devs are self-taught too!

Thanks for the advice! I'm leaning more towards building things, so full stack seems like a good fit.
