Help! Arc Raiders Keeps Crashing on My New PC

I've recently built my dream PC and have been loving it, but I'm facing some serious issues with Arc Raiders crashing. My setup is solid, and I've done all the usual things: updated the BIOS, enabled Expo, and even activated Windows 11 Pro through PowerShell (not that anyone should roast me over the cost!). I always use a reliable debloater, and I've installed all relevant drivers, including the latest NVIDIA drivers.

I've been playing a variety of games with no hiccups – Valorant, CS2, you name it. But Arc Raiders has been a mess. I'm experiencing crashes about 10-15 times a day, usually when I alt-tab. After rolling back to a previous NVIDIA driver, the crashes decreased to 1-3 per day, but I'm getting some significant FPS drops, sometimes down to 60 when I should be stable around 300-400 FPS.

I've tried changing all my settings, doing fresh driver installs, and even capping my FPS, but nothing seems to fix it. The only bit of overclocking I've done is enabling Expo. I'm at my wit's end and even contemplating a full format, but I'm anxious that might not resolve anything. Has anyone else faced this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you've done a lot already to troubleshoot! Given that you're still experiencing issues, I’d suggest a few things: try lowering your graphics settings even further and see if that helps with the crashes. Sometimes, even if your specs are high, certain games can be finicky with graphic loads. Also, consider checking your RAM stability – you can use tools like MemTest86 to make sure everything is running smoothly in that department. It could also be worth running a clean reinstall of Windows if nothing else works.

Yeah, I've had similar problems with other games before. Lowering settings can sometimes make a massive difference! Plus, a clean install might uncover any hidden issues.

That crash message sounds like a driver conflict. Since you mentioned rolling back your NVIDIA drivers, it might be worth uninstalling them completely and using DDU to clean everything, then reinstalling the latest stable version. Sometimes, the latest drivers can introduce new issues, or there might be something conflicting with your CPU settings. Also, check your power supply – if it’s insufficient, it might cause instability under load.

Definitely check your power supply! I had a similar issue where my GPU wasn't getting enough juice and it led to all kinds of crashes.
