What can I do about fit issues with my GPU and AIO cooler?

I've been building my PC for the past year and faced a challenge with component sizes. Here's what I have:

- **GPU:** Sapphire RX9700XT
- **Motherboard:** MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI
- **Case:** Fractal North Mesh
- **AIO Cooler:** Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 Pro

I struggled to fit the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 Pro into the Fractal North Mesh case. Unlike the TG version, this one only fits 360 AIOs in the front. I mounted the radiator internally with the tubes down, and the fans as intake on the outside. However, the LF 360 Pro is 37mm thick, which is significantly thicker than the typical 25mm radiators. This space issue is preventing the GPU from fitting properly between the radiator and the back panel.

I've considered a few options:
- Switching to a thinner 240mm AIO mounted on top, but it's tight there with other components.
- Returning the Arctic for a slimmer model from brands like DeepCool.
- Deshrouding the GPU, but I'm unsure how to remount the fans.
- Trying to squeeze it in, although that risks touching parts.
- Buying a bigger case, but I'd prefer not to sell this one.

Any advice on what steps I should take?

I had the same problem before! I ended up downsizing my cooler, and it worked out great. It’s less stressful on the space and cooling seems just fine. Maybe consider switching to a more compact AIO or even a dual-tower air cooler if you're open to that.

You could definitely opt for a thinner AIO like a 240 or 280mm version, but if you're leaning towards the AIO setup, look for a larger full tower case. It might involve some extra work, but you'd gain plenty of space for better airflow and cooling. Plus, if you want to stick to AIOs, getting the clearance right is crucial.

I had the same fit issues with that specific case and AIO. I switched to the North XL version, which gave me extra room. It made a world of difference! You might want to think about making that upgrade if you can.

Did you go for the Mesh or the Tempered Glass variant?

Getting a bigger case sounds like the most straightforward solution. I've been building PCs for years, and once I switched to full towers, everything just fits. With your current setup, you already have good components; it’s better to avoid the hassle of cramming everything in.
