I'm looking to install Linux on my PC alongside Windows for dual booting. Here are my specs: Intel Core i7-4790, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (8GB), 28GB RAM, and 512GB of storage with a 1TB external drive. I'm aiming for the best performance and security with Linux, as I need Windows primarily for gaming, especially for anti-cheat games like Rust. I previously tried Linux Mint Cinnamon, but it wasn't for me. Any recommendations for the best Linux distros suited for my setup? Also, what do you think of Revi OS?

Honestly, most mainstream distributions should work well for you – think Fedora, Arch, or Debian. Just pick one that supports dual booting and fits your personal style.
Your hardware should handle any modern distribution smoothly. Just remember, sometimes NVIDIA drivers need to be set up manually, depending on the distro. If you found Linux Mint Cinnamon visually unappealing, you can customize it; just search for tutorials on that.

I'm curious, what specifically didn't you like about Mint Cinnamon?
