Hi everyone! I'm having a frustrating issue with the Photos app on my Windows 11 laptop. For the past 2-3 weeks, I haven't been able to save any photos after making minor edits, like resizing or cropping. Whenever I try to save them back to their original location in a subfolder on my D: drive, I get an error message saying, 'impossible to save. An error occurred. Try again later.' However, I'm able to save the edited photos to my desktop or in a C: folder without any issues, but not directly in D:. I've already tried repairing and resetting the app, but nothing has worked. My laptop is an ASUS ROG Strix running on Windows 11 Pro, always up to date with the latest versions. The last updates I installed included the April security update and a .NET framework security patch. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

So I just had a similar issue recently and updating my Nvidia drivers fixed it for me. Maybe check if your Nvidia software or graphics drivers are up to date? It sounds odd, but it made a difference for me!
Have you checked whether you're using 'Save' or 'Save As...' when trying to save your edits? Sometimes using one over the other can make a difference. Just a thought!
I've tried both options, and unfortunately, I still get that same error.
Is your D: drive on the same physical disk as your C: drive? It's worth checking in Disk Management to see if there's any discrepancy there. If they’re on different drives, that could be related to the issue.
Both partitions are indeed on the same physical drive.

Wow, you won't believe it, but after noticing your suggestion, I checked and updated my Nvidia software too. Now I can save my photos without any problems! I’m not sure how that worked, but I’m so relieved!
