Making the Switch from Dual Boot to Linux Only

I'm ready to fully embrace Linux! I've been running Linux Mint alongside Windows 11 as a dual boot setup, but my storage is super limited, with only about 25 GB allocated to Linux. I believe I can do everything I need on Linux, so I'm looking to completely remove Windows and use Linux full-time. Can anyone guide me on the important steps I should follow for this transition? Any helpful guides or video resources would be awesome. Thanks!

Instead of doing a full reinstall, you might consider just deleting the Windows partition and the associated EFI file. After that, you can expand your Linux partition to use the extra space. It’s a simpler approach and could save you some time!

Do you have any guides or resources that explain how to do that?

First things first, back up your important files! Make sure to save any settings or configurations from your .config directory and your user directory. If you've installed software through package managers, print out a list of those programs too. After that, you can proceed with a fresh reinstall of Linux Mint and restore your backed-up data. It sounds like a process, but it’ll definitely set you up for success! 🎉
