Apple isn't sending a usable verification code, and I'm wondering how long I need to wait before trying again. Is the waiting period 24 hours?

If you’re getting an error saying that too many verification codes were requested, you generally need to wait 24 hours from the most recent code request before trying again. Sending more requests can reset or extend the waiting period.
Thanks. I also received a message saying my account was blocked for security reasons, so I guess I’ll have to wait and try again later.
