I'm building a computer for the first time and would appreciate feedback on my parts list. I've done quite a bit of research, but I'm still not an expert and want to make sure the components are balanced. I can buy the CPU, RAM, and motherboard as a bundle from Micro Center, saving about $220 and bringing the total cost to roughly $3,320. I also considered buying the G765 prebuilt, but I'd prefer building this system myself even though it costs more. The PC will be used for a lot of 4K gaming and video editing. Is this a good configuration, and are there any parts I should change?

It’s a strong high-end build and should handle AAA games at 4K without much trouble. I’m not very familiar with that particular motherboard, but the bundle makes it a reasonable choice if the included parts are a good value.
You could consider a Radeon 9070 XT instead of the RTX 5080 if you want better value for gaming. An 850W power supply should also be sufficient, assuming it’s a quality unit. For gaming alone, a 7800X3D would likely offer similar performance for less money, but since you’ll be doing a lot of video editing, keeping the 9800X3D may make more sense. If your electrical grid is unreliable, a roughly 900W-rated UPS would also be worth considering.
Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll be doing a lot of video editing alongside gaming, so I’m leaning toward keeping the stronger processor.
The bundle is the main reason I chose that motherboard. I’m not especially familiar with it either, but the available bundle options are fairly limited.
