We're a Microsoft AI Cloud Partner with Partner Success Expanded Benefits and renewed our benefits in June 2026. When redeeming 35 Microsoft 365 Business Premium licenses without Teams through the newer Partner Center billing-account checkout, I accidentally selected our partner tenant instead of our staff tenant. The initial support guidance was incorrect, and we were told to cancel the subscription because it would supposedly reset the redemption. It did not. The cancelled subscription cannot be reactivated, and Microsoft now needs to provide a replacement redemption token or another supported recovery path.
We've opened five support cases over nearly three months. Several were closed because they were supposedly assigned to the wrong team, while another remains unresolved. One engineer confirmed that a new token was needed but said another team had to issue it. No team has taken ownership.
Our 35-seat benefit is disabled, while 23 employees are temporarily using a single-seat paid subscription, creating a compliance concern. We also have temporary trial subscriptions scheduled for deletion on September 4, 2026. The immediate goal is to restore the 35-seat benefit, either by issuing a replacement redemption token or by providing the correct Partner Center recovery process.
Has anyone successfully escalated a partner-benefits or licensing issue beyond first-line support, reached the Partner Center Enablement/Membership team, or recovered from an accidentally cancelled benefit subscription?

Treat this as a service-recovery escalation, not just a normal redemption problem. Submit the case through the billing and licensing route, clearly state that Microsoft guidance caused the cancellation, and reference the prior tickets. Also check the Relationships section of your partner account for your Partner Development Manager or Partner Technology Strategist, since they may be able to escalate internally to the benefits fulfillment team. If the case remains idle, use the manager-callback or escalation option, then contact your regional partner organization if necessary.
The team to try first may be Partner Center Enablement/Membership rather than requesting a new token directly. Open a new service request in Partner Center and explicitly choose the Enablement/Membership issue type so it routes to the appropriate queue. Explain that the subscription was cancelled after incorrect support guidance and include every previous case number.
You may also need a person with authority to drive the issue rather than another first-line ticket. Reaching out to a senior contact in Microsoft's partner organization through a professional business channel can help get the case assigned to one owner. Keep the request narrowly focused: restore the benefit through the supported recovery process, protect the affected users from license deletion, and document the compliance impact and the September 4 deadline.

This is really helpful. I've opened a new case with the Membership/Enablement team and am contacting Microsoft partner representatives. I'll also check the Relationships section for our partner manager and use the incorrect-guidance and service-recovery wording in the escalation.
