My SteelSeries headphones are about nine months old and stopped producing sound on my laptop a few days ago, apparently during a power outage while they were connected. The microphone still works, and the headphones play normally when connected to my phone, so the headset itself seems functional. I've already restarted the laptop and checked Windows Sound Settings, the Volume Mixer, mmsys.cpl, Device Manager, Windows Audio and Audio Endpoint Builder services, the Realtek Audio Universal Service, Realtek Audio Console, and the Realtek audio driver. I'm not sure what else could be preventing audio output on the laptop.

Since the microphone still works and the headphones work with your phone, the headset probably isn’t completely dead. The next useful step would be identifying whether Windows detects the headphones as an output device and whether another output—such as the laptop speakers—still plays sound. If the headphones don’t appear as an output at all, the power outage may have affected the laptop’s audio hardware or port rather than the headset.
