My current PC has an Asus B550M-K motherboard, Ryzen 7 5700X, GTX 970, 32GB of DDR4 memory, and a 750W-or-higher power supply. Because DDR5 memory and newer platforms are currently expensive, I would rather upgrade only the graphics card instead of replacing the motherboard, CPU, and RAM. I'm considering an RX 9060 XT 16GB for 1440p gaming. Is it compatible with my motherboard and power supply, and should I expect a significant CPU bottleneck or other issues with the Ryzen 7 5700X?

You’re unlikely to notice a CPU bottleneck in most single-player and AAA games at 1440p. The main exceptions would be competitive games running at very high frame rates, such as trying to push 持300 FPS. For normal high-refresh-rate 1440p gaming, the 5700X is a reasonable match.
There’s no need to replace the CPU immediately. If you later want the highest possible frame rates in CPU-heavy games, an X3D processor supported by the AM4 platform could be a future upgrade, but it isn’t necessary for this graphics-card upgrade.
The motherboard uses a standard PCIe x16 slot, so the card should be compatible. Just check the specific card’s physical length, power connectors, and recommended PSU requirements before buying. A quality 750W supply should provide plenty of power.
That combination should work well. The Ryzen 7 5700X is still capable, and at 1440p the RX 9060 XT will usually be the component limiting performance in graphically demanding games. Even in games where the CPU becomes the limit, the upgrade from a GTX 970 should be enormous.
