I'm putting together my first PC in Thailand and need 32GB of RAM. I'm deciding between Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000 CL36 for ฿13,300 ($405) and KLEVV FIT V White DDR5-5600 CL30 for ฿12,050 ($365). The Corsair kit costs about $40 more, but I'm planning a white-themed build and will be using an AMD processor. Is the faster 6000 MT/s speed worth paying extra for, or would the lower-latency 5600 CL30 kit perform just as well or better?

For an AMD system, DDR5-5600 CL30 can be just as fast as, or occasionally faster than, DDR5-6000 CL36 because the tighter timings reduce latency. The 6000 kit has more bandwidth, but its looser timings reduce that advantage. Unless the price difference is unimportant to you, the 5600 CL30 kit is the more sensible choice here.
In real-world performance, these kits are likely to be very close. Since the KLEVV kit is cheaper and matches your white build, I’d choose it unless you specifically want the Corsair RGB or have confirmed compatibility concerns. Brand name alone usually isn’t worth an extra $40 for RAM.
That makes sense. I do like the Corsair branding and RGB, but the white KLEVV kit fits the build better.
The 5600 CL30 kit may use Hynix memory, while the 6000 CL36 kit could use Samsung memory. Hynix-based DDR5 often has more overclocking and timing-tuning headroom, though the exact memory chips can vary between production batches.
I’m building with AMD, so I’ll go with the CL30 kit and save the extra money.
