Loving Linux for 60 Days! Any Tips to Enhance My Experience?

I've been using Linux Mint for almost 60 days now after switching from Windows, and I really enjoy it! However, I've noticed that while Windows had a more pleasant and visually relaxing experience, something feels a bit off with my current setup. Despite trying various tools like xsct, xgamma, and redshift, I'm still not achieving that crisp clarity in fonts and objects that I want. I understand that Linux and Windows are different, so I'm not expecting a perfect match, but I'm hoping to improve my visual experience. Some folks mentioned that using Cinnamon might be contributing to the issue, so I'm considering a change in desktop environment. I've heard good things about KDE, but since Mint doesn't support it directly, I'd need to switch to something like Fedora. What do you all think? Any suggestions on desktop environments or tweaks I could try?

It could really help if you shared some screenshots of what you're seeing—sometimes specific visuals can lead to better recommendations. It’s easier for the community to suggest fixes when they can see the problem!

KDE could be a fantastic choice! I've switched to Arch recently, and I find that KDE offers so many soothing themes. If you're into calmer color palettes, definitely look up ‘catppuccin’ themes—they really enhance the visual experience. Honestly, switching to KDE could bring a nice UI feel that you might be missing in Cinnamon!

Cinnamon actually has a built-in night light feature you could check out, which might help with eye strain too! It can change the color temperature of your display for a more comfortable view in low-light situations.

First off, if things look blurry, check your scaling settings. Make sure you're using 100% or 200% scaling and avoid fractional scaling as that can lead to blurriness. It might make a big difference!
