I'm completely new to building PCs and have been developing with an MSI GS76 Stealth. Its performance is starting to feel limited, especially when loading and compiling shaders for my Unreal Engine 5 project. I've upgraded the laptop's SSD storage, but it still struggles. Budget isn't a major concern, so I'd appreciate recommendations for a powerful, reliable desktop build. I'm based in the United States.

A Core i5-14600K paired with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a Radeon RX 9070 XT would offer excellent performance for roughly $1,500. That combination should be a major upgrade for Unreal Engine work and shader compilation.
Would 32GB be enough for Unreal Engine 5, or would it make more sense to install 64GB or even more? I’ve heard that large projects can use a lot of memory.
