I have a Samsung Galaxy A15, and a green dot keeps appearing in the top-right corner of the screen, indicating that something may be using the microphone or camera. I closed all visible apps and browser tabs, but the indicator remained. What should I check, and what steps can I take to identify or stop whatever is accessing it?

Try restarting the phone first, since that will stop apps and background processes that may still be using the microphone or camera. If the dot comes back, check the Privacy Dashboard or the notification shade to see which app recently accessed those permissions. You can also review microphone and camera permissions under Settings > Security and privacy > Permission manager, then force-stop or uninstall anything suspicious.

Restarting the phone made the green dot disappear. I’m still going to check the privacy permissions to figure out what may have triggered it.
