I received a $1,600 offer for my Asus Strix RTX 3090 OC and want to know whether that was a fair selling price. Online listings show some cards priced higher, but I'm not sure how many of those actually sell. The card hasn't shipped yet, so I can still decide whether to accept the offer.

I’d consider that a great sale. Personally, I wouldn’t pay anywhere near $1,000 for a 30-series card, so getting $1,600 for one is more than reasonable.
That sounds like a solid price. Online marketplace prices are often 10–15% higher because sellers need to cover fees and shipping. To get a realistic comparison, check completed or sold listings rather than active listings.
The 3090 still has appeal because of its 24 GB of VRAM, especially for AI and other memory-heavy workloads. Some buyers may pay more for that, but $1,600 is still a respectable offer and avoids the fees and hassle of selling online.
