I have an ASUS G15DH desktop that I bought around 2021. It has been unused and stored in its original box with protective foam since I moved in May. When I set it up again, it powered on but would not display anything on my monitor. I also tried several TVs, HDMI cables, and both HDMI ports on the graphics card, so the issue does not appear to be limited to one screen, cable, or port. I removed and reseated the graphics card, but that made no difference. The computer worked normally the last time I used it, and I'm not experienced enough with hardware to tell whether the graphics card looks damaged. What else should I check?

Make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the graphics card outputs, not a video port on the motherboard. On many systems with a dedicated GPU, the motherboard video outputs will not work. You could also power the computer off completely, unplug it for a few minutes, then reconnect the GPU and its power cables before trying again.
Because the desktop was stored for a while, inspect the inside for dust, loose connections, or signs of corrosion. Reseat the RAM as well as the graphics card, since a memory problem can prevent the machine from reaching the point where it produces video. If it still shows no display after that, the GPU, power supply, or motherboard may need to be professionally tested.
Since you’ve already ruled out multiple displays, cables, and both GPU ports, the next things to check are whether the graphics card is fully seated in its slot and whether its PCIe power connectors are firmly attached. Also confirm that the PC is actually completing startup rather than just powering on—listen for beep codes, check whether the keyboard lights respond, and see if the fans behave normally. If possible, test the graphics card in another compatible system or have a repair shop test it.
