I'm planning to build a completely new gaming PC within the next year. My current system is based on a GTX 970, so I'm out of touch with modern hardware and would appreciate recommendations. The main goals are playing GTA VI and Assetto Corsa, possibly with a triple-monitor setup or a single ultrawide display for sim racing. I'll need the entire PC from scratch, and advice about the racing simulator hardware would also be helpful. I'm based in Europe and expect to buy the components from Germany. I don't have a fixed budget yet because I'm unsure what a suitable system costs today, but I'd rather spend more for a system that remains capable for several years than build around minimum requirements. A rough estimate of €3,000–€4,000 for the PC alone seems realistic, excluding the simulator equipment.

The main thing to clarify first is how much you’re comfortable spending. A normal high-end gaming PC might fit around €1,000–€2,000, but a system intended for demanding sim racing—especially triple monitors—can quickly reach €3,000 or more before adding the wheel, pedals, cockpit, and displays.
I’m mainly looking for recommendations and real-world experience first. I expect anything under about €3,000 to involve some compromises, so roughly €3,000–€4,000 for the PC itself seems like a reasonable target.
