I'm considering pairing a Ryzen 7 9800X3D with an RTX 3060. I know the graphics card is much weaker than the processor, but my main games are CPU-intensive. Would this combination cause any problems, or would the 3060 simply be the limiting component? I may upgrade the GPU later, but I'm not sure when.

If you already own the 3060, using it with the 9800X3D is perfectly fine. If you’re buying both from scratch, a cheaper CPU paired with a substantially stronger GPU could deliver better overall gaming performance, even in many CPU-intensive games.
