How can I stop unwanted meditation videos from autoplaying overnight?

I often listen to podcasts while falling asleep and sometimes forget to set a sleep timer, so the video app continues playing related content afterward. This worked normally for years, but recently I've been waking up to several-hour videos with titles like "heal yourself" or "relaxing rain music." I keep selecting "Not interested," but similar videos continue appearing. How can I reset or change the recommendations and prevent this from happening?

The easiest fix is to turn off autoplay altogether. If you still want continuous listening, make a playlist or queue containing only the podcasts you actually want to hear. That keeps the app from choosing random long-form videos once your current episode ends.

Remove the meditation, rain, and other unwanted videos from your watch history if they’re showing up there. Then spend some time actively watching or searching for the content you do want. Recommendations can be stubborn, but repeatedly choosing different topics should gradually retrain the feed.

That’s been my experience too. The recommendation system seems to keep pushing a category once it decides you’re interested, even after selecting “Not interested.”

If the app has a subscriptions or following tab, start playback from there instead of the home page. The home recommendations often treat “long video to sleep to” as a broad interest rather than understanding which podcasts you actually prefer.

A manually created playlist of your usual podcasts is probably the most reliable option. You can include familiar episodes or reruns, set the playlist to loop if needed, and avoid giving autoplay an opportunity to jump into unrelated relaxing-music videos.
