Hey everyone, I could really use some help with an old Facebook account. When I was a kid, my parents set up a Facebook profile for me and created a new email specifically for that account. The problem is, I don't remember what email they used, and I don't have the username or any other access information. I want to delete this account since I don't use it anymore and I'd like to get rid of it altogether. Does anyone know what steps I can take to recover or permanently delete this account?

Have you thought about reaching out to Facebook support? Without any credentials, it's like a stranger trying to access your account, so it might be tough to reclaim it. However, there are situations where family members can request account deletion if the owner has passed away. That could be worth looking into. If the account has your name or photos, you might prove it's yours, but be ready for a complicated process! Just make sure to provide as much detail as possible when you contact them.
Thank you for your response. I’ve exhausted all possible options on my end, which is why I’ve turned to communities like this one for help. That account has my photos and full name, verifying my identity should be straightforward, as I have official documents that can prove who I am. It's frustrating that there doesn’t seem to be a clear solution. I’m open to any option at this point.
