What’s the best way to build stronger HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills?

I understand the core basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and my college course will cover these technologies in more depth. I've spent the last couple of weeks reviewing fundamentals and making notes, but I'd like to get ahead before the course begins. Are there any good websites, structured bootcamps, or practical learning paths you'd recommend? I've been using Google's web development materials so far, but I'm looking for additional resources and ways to improve through hands-on practice.

At this point, stop focusing only on notes and tutorials and start building something from scratch. Make a personal website or another small project using plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. When you get stuck, look up that specific problem in the documentation, fix it, and keep moving. That feedback loop will teach you much more effectively than passively watching lessons. For structured practice, try freeCodeCamp or The Odin Project; both include hands-on tasks and projects. You can skip sections covering things you already understand.

The Odin Project and freeCodeCamp are both strong choices. They provide a clear curriculum while making you practice by completing projects instead of just watching videos.

Since you already know the fundamentals, choose a small project and learn whatever you need along the way. Building, running into problems, and figuring out how to solve them is one of the fastest ways to improve.
