I can reach the Windows lock screen showing the time and date, but I can't click or type anything to sign in. My USB keyboard and mouse seem unresponsive in Windows, although they work in the BIOS and during BitLocker recovery. I recently moved the computer and unplugged everything; it worked normally for about a day after setting it up again. I've already tried several fixes and need help getting back into the computer.

If none of the USB ports respond in Windows, try starting Windows Recovery Environment and booting into Safe Mode. Since the problem began after everything was disconnected during the move, also reseat the USB connections and check that the keyboard and mouse are firmly connected. If they work in recovery but not normal Windows, a driver or startup problem is more likely than a dead device.
Plug the keyboard and mouse into different USB ports, preferably the basic rear motherboard ports rather than a hub or front-panel connection. If possible, temporarily use a basic wired keyboard and mouse, since wireless receivers or USB hubs can fail even when the devices still work in BIOS.
Try pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete at the lock screen. If that brings up the sign-in options, the issue may just be with the lock screen interface. Also disconnect every nonessential USB device and leave only the keyboard and mouse connected.
I can’t interact with the Safe Mode options either. The only recent change was moving the computer; it worked for one day after I set it up in the new location, then the sign-in screen stopped responding.
