What CPU and RAM should I pair with my RTX 5060 Ti 16GB?

There are sometimes bundle deals around the $400 mark for a gaming-focused AM5 CPU, motherboard, and 32GB of memory. That could leave enough of an $800 budget for a decent cooler or other parts, but the best choice depends heavily on which motherboard and chipset you already have, if any.

Before choosing parts, check whether you already own a motherboard and what socket or chipset it uses. That determines whether you can reuse anything and may change the recommendation completely. If you’re building from scratch, AM5 with 32GB of DDR5 is the most balanced direction for this budget.

If you need to cut costs, 16GB can get you by for Overwatch and lighter games, though it’s starting to feel tight for some modern titles. A 32GB kit is preferable, especially for modded Minecraft and Cyberpunk, so I’d reduce the CPU tier before dropping to 16GB if possible.
