I'm planning to replace my Gigabyte RTX 4060 Ti 8GB with an RTX 5070 12GB, and it will be the only upgrade I make for now. I want to confirm that the rest of my system, especially the CPU and power supply, can support the new graphics card without causing problems.

The main thing to check is the power connection, and your PSU is sufficient. If your power supply includes a native 12VHPWR or 12V-2x6 cable, use that instead of relying on an adapter. Also make sure the new card physically fits in your case.
That system should handle an RTX 5070 without any trouble. The Ryzen 7 7700X is more than capable, and the 850W power supply provides plenty of headroom. You should be able to enjoy higher frame rates and resolutions without needing another upgrade.
Your parts are compatible, although it may be worth comparing prices before buying. The Radeon 9070 XT is often cheaper while offering similar or better performance in some games. That said, if you already prefer the 5070 and have budgeted for it, there’s no compatibility reason not to choose it.
Thanks, that clears things up. I already had the 5070 in mind and have the money set aside for it, so I mainly wanted to confirm that the power supply and the rest of the system could handle the upgrade. I’ll keep the 9070 XT in mind for a future build.
