My computer fell while the room was dark, so I'm not sure how it landed. Afterward, I heard a strange noise from one of the fans, almost like the blades were touching something. Everything else seemed to work normally. I restarted it and the noise was still there, so I tested the fans individually and accidentally set one to maximum speed. After running loudly for a couple of seconds, the sound gradually disappeared and the fan returned to normal. Should I take the computer to a repair shop, or is there anything I should inspect first?

A fall can move a cable or slightly misalign a fan, so I’d avoid running it heavily until you look inside. Make sure nothing is brushing against the blades and that the fan is firmly attached. If the noise comes back, temperatures rise, or you notice instability, then have a technician examine it.
If the computer is working normally now, you probably don’t need a repair shop immediately. Check the fan blades, mounting points, graphics card, memory, and internal cables for anything loose or shifted. Also monitor the CPU and GPU temperatures for a while. If temperatures stay normal and there are no more unusual noises, it’s likely fine.
