I'm planning to build my first gaming PC this summer and would appreciate a second opinion on my parts list. My budget is around €3,000, although I'm happy to spend less if there's no meaningful benefit. I care a lot about the system's appearance, so I'd also like to know whether the planned CPU cooler is worth keeping or if there's a better-looking or better-performing alternative. I'll be running CachyOS rather than Windows, so Linux compatibility is important. Is the Radeon RX 9070 XT a good choice for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, or should I consider another GPU?

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is still an excellent gaming CPU and won’t restrict your GPU choice. Since you’re using Linux, the Radeon RX 9070 XT is a sensible option because AMD’s driver support is generally straightforward. The card already in your build looks like a strong match, so there’s no urgent reason to replace it unless you want more performance and have the budget for a higher-end model.
The combination of a 7800X3D and RX 9070 XT is already very strong. It should deliver excellent gaming performance without requiring major changes to the rest of the build. Unless you’re targeting extreme 4K settings or very high refresh rates, I’d keep the GPU and focus on choosing a cooler based on appearance, noise, and case compatibility.
The best upgrade depends mainly on your resolution, refresh rate, and budget. The 7800X3D can handle anything from a midrange card to a flagship, so choose the fastest GPU you can comfortably afford.
