My cat knocked a cup of water onto my A4Tech keyboard. It's my only keyboard, so I'm hoping to get it working again by tomorrow. What's the safest way to dry it, and is using a hair dryer a good idea?

Unplug the keyboard immediately and don’t reconnect it while there’s any chance it’s still wet. Turn it upside down, gently shake out the water, and leave it somewhere warm and well-ventilated with a fan blowing across it. Since it was plain water, it will probably be fine once completely dry, but give it as much time as possible—ideally 24–48 hours. Avoid using high heat from a hair dryer, since that can warp parts or push water deeper inside. If you use one, choose only cool or low airflow and keep it moving.
If you need to speed things up, remove the keycaps if they come off easily and blot any visible moisture. A fan is safer than heat. Don’t plug it in just to test it, because powering a wet keyboard is what can cause permanent damage. You may get lucky by tomorrow, but waiting longer is safer.
