My PC has shut down unexpectedly twice while I was casually playing Raft. The shutdown happens after roughly 15 minutes, but it does not appear to be caused by overheating: the CPU sits around 50–60°C on the desktop and reaches about 75°C in-game. The system uses a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, an RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB, and a 750W power supply. Reliability Monitor mentions that the Nahimic service stopped functioning, and Raft does create log files. I also tested Goat Simulator, which seems to put more demand on the graphics card, and it ran for about 30 minutes without shutting down. Could this be a Raft-specific issue, or should I investigate the power supply, drivers, or another component?

Check Windows Reliability Monitor and Event Viewer around the exact time of the shutdown. A Nahimic service failure is usually related to audio software and may not be the direct cause, but you can try disabling or uninstalling Nahimic and updating your audio and chipset drivers. Also check Raft’s log files for errors and verify or reinstall the game files.
Did you recently change any hardware, drivers, BIOS settings, overclocking, or software? If so, undo the change temporarily. Even with reasonable temperatures, a sudden complete shutdown can point to unstable settings, a loose power cable, or a power-supply protection trigger. Make sure the motherboard, GPU, and 24-pin power connectors are firmly seated, and consider running a separate CPU/GPU stress test to see whether the system shuts down outside Raft.
Since another demanding game ran without problems, the issue may be specific to Raft rather than temperatures or overall GPU load. Try verifying the game installation, removing mods or overlays, updating the graphics driver, and testing with a clean launch. If the entire PC loses power instead of merely returning to the desktop, still check the power connections and Windows crash records, because a game-specific crash normally should not switch the system off completely.
