I recently built a PC with a Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2 motherboard, Ryzen 5 5500, used RTX 3060 Ti, 32GB DDR4-3600 with XMP enabled, a 1TB NVMe SSD, and a V3GA 700 BR power supply. The BIOS, AMD chipset, NVIDIA drivers, and Windows 11 installation are all up to date. Initially everything worked normally, but after launching Hunt: Showdown, the display began intermittently going black. The monitor remains powered, while the PC continues running and game audio is still audible. The issue now occurs in other games as well, sometimes repeatedly within minutes and other times not appearing for several days. I have tested the CPU and GPU with OCCT, ran MemTest86 for five hours without errors, changed from DisplayPort to HDMI, confirmed the cable is connected to the graphics card, and adjusted monitor and Windows power settings. Rolling back the NVIDIA driver from version 616.92 to 610.88 did not help. More recently, my keyboard and headset have also started cutting out, and ending the game with Alt+F4 sometimes restores the display. Could this be a failing GPU, power supply, motherboard, or another hardware issue?

Since the system keeps running but loses video output, the graphics driver or GPU is still a strong suspect. Try a clean driver removal with DDU from Safe Mode, then install a known-stable NVIDIA driver rather than installing over the existing one. However, the keyboard and headset cutting out at the same time makes a simple monitor or cable problem less likely. If the issue continues after a clean driver install, test the 3060 Ti in another PC and try a reliable, known-good power supply. Also check Windows Event Viewer for display-driver resets or hardware errors.
I rolled back from 616.92 to 610.88 and the black screens still happened, so I’ll try a full clean driver removal next. The newer USB cutouts and longer black screens are what make me worry that it may be more than just the monitor or driver.
