I recently installed Omarchy on a 12-inch Intel MacBook (model A1534), which had only 234 battery cycles. About a week later, it suddenly stopped charging. I tested two USB-C cables and two charger blocks, both plugged directly into the laptop and through a powered hub. The port looks clean, and resetting the SMC did not help. The operating system no longer detects a battery, reports ADP1 online = 0, and the battery icon has disappeared. The last reported charge was 6%. Is there anything else I can check to determine whether this is a software problem or a failed battery or charging circuit?

The discussion doesn’t point to a specific charging fix, but keeping backups is especially important with an Arch-based setup. A snapshot or recovery backup before major updates can make troubleshooting or rolling back much easier. Since the battery is no longer detected at all, though, this may be a hardware or firmware-level issue rather than simply a low battery or bad cable.
I already have my data backed up. I’m mainly trying to figure out whether the missing battery detection is caused by the operating system or by a hardware failure.
