Windows Update Finished, but My PC Keeps Booting Into BIOS

I installed a Windows update last night, and afterward my computer started opening the BIOS every time instead of booting into Windows. I'm not very experienced with troubleshooting, so I'm worried something may have gone wrong with my SSD. In the boot settings, I don't see any available boot drives, and saving and exiting just returns me to the BIOS.

It may have been a temporary firmware or boot-detection issue, especially if the system eventually started normally. Since it’s working again, back up anything important right away and keep an eye out for the problem returning. If it does, check the SSD connections and confirm that Windows Boot Manager is selected as the first boot option.

It suddenly started working again without me changing anything. I’m definitely going to back up my important files now.

If the computer returns to BIOS after every save and exit, check whether the SSD is detected in the storage or hardware information section. If it is detected but no Windows boot option appears, the boot order or Windows Boot Manager entry may be the problem. If the SSD isn’t detected at all, power down and check its connections before assuming the drive is damaged.

Every time I save and exit, it goes straight back into BIOS. The boot tab doesn’t show any boot drives, so I’m concerned that the SSD may have failed.
