Microsoft has listed an incident affecting Microsoft 365 users in the United States. The incident is marked as a service degradation, and they’re reviewing telemetry and reports to identify the cause. The issue is tracked as MO1472904.
We’re seeing widespread single sign-on failures too. Users are getting 503 errors when authenticating to Microsoft 365 services and the admin center.
It looks like service access is beginning to recover now, although some users may still see errors while existing sessions reauthenticate.
This appears broader than a single tenant or organization. Entra authentication is failing for users in the eastern United States, including New York and nearby regions.
