I'm preparing to buy my first high-end gaming PC and want to check the parts before paying a 10% deposit. The planned build is a Ryzen 7 7800X3D (tray), ASRock RX 9070 XT Challenger 16GB, MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi, 32GB (2×16GB) Forgeon Cylon DDR5-6000 CL30, Lexar NM800 Pro 1TB SSD with heatsink, Cooler Master Elite Gold 850W fully modular ATX 3.1 PSU, DeepCool LE360 V2 liquid cooler, and a DeepCool CG530 4F case. The total is 26,700 MAD, or roughly $2,700 USD. I mainly want high-refresh 1440p gaming, but I'd also like reasonable 4K performance for several years. Are the components compatible, and are there any concerns with the motherboard, GPU model, RAM, SSD, power supply, case airflow, radiator support, or graphics-card clearance? Would you change anything at a similar price, especially for long-term reliability?

The MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi should be perfectly serviceable; a more expensive Tomahawk model may offer stronger VRMs, more rear I/O, and better audio, but those features will not noticeably increase gaming performance with a 7800X3D. If the price gap is small, it may be worthwhile, but otherwise the current board is adequate. The main upgrades I’d investigate are a 2TB SSD and possibly a simpler air cooler rather than spending more on the motherboard.
The case should work, but the CG530 is fairly bulky for its internal space. Check the exact radiator position, GPU length, and radiator-plus-fan clearance before paying. An air cooler such as the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE is more than enough for a 7800X3D, cheaper, and has fewer long-term failure points. If you prefer liquid cooling, verify that the LE360 V2 fits without interfering with the motherboard or graphics card.
The core combination makes sense. The 7800X3D is still excellent for 1440p and is more than adequate for 4K, where the GPU becomes the main limitation. The RX 9070 XT should be strong at 1440p and perfectly usable at 4K with sensible settings and FSR 4 where available. Just confirm that the motherboard BIOS supports the CPU and that the board’s memory QVL includes the chosen kit.

The DDR5-6000 CL30 specification is ideal for AM5, and the kit should be fine if it uses a decent memory IC and appears on the board’s compatibility list. The 1TB SSD is fast enough for gaming, but capacity is the bigger issue. A 2TB TLC drive—even a slightly slower PCIe 3.0 model—would be more convenient because game loading differences are usually minor. Adding a cheaper SATA SSD later is also a reasonable option.
An 850W ATX 3.1 supply gives the system plenty of headroom and is an appropriate capacity for the 9070 XT. The Cooler Master unit is generally considered decent rather than top-tier, so compare its warranty, protections, and local pricing with other reputable 850W models. I’d prioritize a known high-quality PSU over a small difference in efficiency rating.
A 360mm AIO isn’t necessary for this CPU, although it’s fine if you specifically want the appearance. A good dual-tower air cooler will handle it quietly.
