I'm running Zorin OS with KDE Plasma, and Discover recently stopped launching. Clicking its icon does nothing, and trying to start it from the terminal initially reported that the command or program didn't exist. I reinstalled Discover through the terminal, but it still wouldn't open. When I tried launching it again, the terminal printed a long series of repeated "unknown" messages. Discover only appears to work when opened through an update notification. What should I check or do to repair it?

Zorin OS isn’t designed around KDE Plasma, so Discover may not behave reliably there, especially if KDE components were added manually. A KDE-focused distribution such as Kubuntu or Fedora KDE will usually provide better integration. That said, since Discover worked previously, the immediate issue may be a broken package, missing dependency, or corrupted configuration. Running Discover from a terminal and checking the complete error output can help identify which one it is.
It worked normally before, so this appears to be a recent change rather than a setup that never supported Discover. Checking recent package updates and reinstalling the related KDE Discover and package-management components would be a reasonable first step.
