I'm upgrading a gaming PC that currently uses a Ryzen 5 5600X and an RTX 5070. I mainly play at 1080p and have about $400–$500 CAD to spend. Should I upgrade to another AM4 processor, such as the Ryzen 7 5700X3D or 5800X3D, or move to AM5 with a new motherboard and DDR5 memory?

Its extra cache can provide a noticeable improvement in CPU-limited games, especially at 1080p, while keeping the platform cost reasonable.
