I have a long conversation on my iPhone that I need to provide to my attorney. Taking screenshots of every message is becoming extremely time-consuming. Since I use a Windows laptop, what's the most efficient way to copy or export the messages while preserving enough of the conversation for legal review?

For a quick manual option, press and hold a message in the Messages app, choose the option to select or copy text, and paste it into an email, notes app, or document. This can work for smaller sections, but it may be tedious for a very long history.
A dedicated iPhone backup and export tool such as iMazing can export text-message conversations to a computer in a more organized format. That may be more practical than taking hundreds of screenshots, especially if you need the conversation for legal purposes.
You can try Apple’s Link to Windows feature to connect the iPhone and Windows laptop, then copy the messages into a Word document. However, it may not let you scroll far enough back in a long conversation, so test it before relying on it.
