Is there any way to install a newer driver on a GTX 670MX? I tried using NVCleanstall, and the installation completed, but afterward Windows reported Error 43 for the graphics card. Reinstalling the previous driver fixed the problem. I'm currently using version 425.31 and was hoping a newer driver could improve performance in Diablo 4, which is running at around 50 FPS.

This usually isn’t something NVCleanstall can fix. It can customize the installation, but it can’t add support for a GPU that the driver no longer supports. Since rolling back immediately restores the card, the newer driver is simply incompatible with the 670MX.
The GTX 670MX is a Kepler-era mobile GPU, and official driver support has effectively ended. Newer packages may install, but they often don’t properly support the card and can trigger Error 43. The safest option is to stay with the newest driver that works reliably on your system, such as 425.31 or an older legacy release.
I’ve seen the same behavior with this GPU: a driver update led to Error 43, and reverting to the previous version was the only reliable solution. You’re probably better off keeping the working driver and looking for game-specific settings to improve performance rather than forcing a newer package.
That’s disappointing, but it makes sense. I was hoping a newer driver would give me a few extra FPS, but I’ll probably keep the current version if it’s the stable option.
