After nearly two years of planning, I'm close to completing my first PC. I already have a dual-tower CPU cooler, an 850W power supply, 32GB of DDR4 memory, 1TB of storage, a GPU support bracket, a case, speakers, and a keyboard. I still need to choose and buy the graphics card, motherboard, and CPU. I'm considering a Ryzen 7 because I'll be using the system for content creation. For someone building a PC for the first time, what part of assembling or setting it up is usually the biggest challenge?

The hardest part is usually just getting started without overthinking it. Take everything out of the packaging, read the motherboard and case manuals, and install each component carefully. Double-check compatibility between the CPU, motherboard, RAM, cooler, and case, then take your time with cable connections. Modern parts are fairly straightforward to assemble, and you’re unlikely to damage anything if you don’t force a connector or screw.
That’s reassuring. A lot of build videos make it look effortless, probably because the people making them have been assembling PCs for years. I’ll try to slow down, follow the manuals, and not panic over every step.
