I'm trying to install ArchLinux on a Mac M1 using UTM, but I keep running into various errors with every attempt. I'm not sure what the specific issues are, and I'm looking for advice on how to fix them or if anyone else has faced similar problems. Any help would be appreciated!

Just a reminder, Arch is generally not recommended for Linux newbies. However, if you're experimenting in a VM, that's a good way to learn! Just be prepared for the fact that it can be quite the challenge, especially at first.

It can be tough to help without knowing what errors you're encountering. Can you give more details about where things are going wrong? Is it during installation, booting, or something else? If possible, share any error messages or screenshots you’re seeing!

I've tried multiple types of ArchLinux, and the errors vary. The usual one happens when I set up the virtual machine and start it, showing a blank screen. Here's the screenshot of the issue: [screenshot](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jvlCtGF0VbP9-fg1qxQUMOQd4hAzyuZR/view?usp=sharing)

Installing Arch on a Mac can be tricky, especially with the M1's ARM architecture. If you're using an x64 VM, that could complicate things. It's a bit like driving without a license—sounds exciting, but it can be a bumpy ride! Make sure you're using the right version for your system, like aarch64 or Asahi Linux. More details about the errors would definitely help us help you better!

I get what you're saying. Learning is part of the process, and trying Arch in a VM isn’t as risky as doing it on a daily driver. More guidance rather than gatekeeping would be really helpful!
