My iPhone was stolen, and I'm trying to recover my data and restore any available backup. I received a notification saying that Find My has been disabled on the device, so it can no longer be located, placed in Lost Mode, or erased remotely. I'm worried about my personal data and want to know what steps I should take now. I'm also having trouble signing in because my Apple Account is locked for security reasons. What is the safest way to contact official Apple Support, unlock my account, and restore an iCloud backup or recover other data on a replacement device?

If you still know your Apple Account email and password, you can sign in on a replacement iPhone or through Apple’s account website. Any iCloud backups, photos, contacts, and other synced data should be available through that account. Find My being disabled prevents you from tracking, locking, or remotely erasing the stolen phone, but it does not by itself delete your existing iCloud backup. If no backup or synced copy exists, Apple generally cannot recreate data that was stored only on the phone.
Once you regain access to the account, set up a replacement iPhone and choose the option to restore from an iCloud backup during setup. You can also check iCloud from a computer to see whether photos, contacts, notes, and other synchronized information are present. A replacement from insurance or a theft-and-loss plan may also be eligible for restoring your backup, but the backup can only be used after you successfully sign in to the same Apple Account.
Start by contacting Apple Support through the official support website or the telephone number listed for your country. Explain that the phone was stolen and that your Apple Account is locked. Apple’s account-recovery process may require identity and ownership verification, so avoid repeatedly guessing the password. You should also contact your mobile carrier to suspend the line and ask whether the device’s IMEI can be blocked.

Thanks. I was mainly worried that disabling Find My also removed my backup. I’ll focus on recovering the locked account first and then check what is available in iCloud.
