I updated my RTX 3070 to GeForce Game Ready Driver 617.14, but my performance became noticeably worse afterward. I ended up rolling back to version 616.92. Has anyone else experienced FPS drops or other performance problems with 617.14, or could this be specific to my system?

I didn’t notice any problems after installing 617.14, though driver behavior can vary depending on the GPU and system setup.
My FPS dropped badly after the update, so I rolled back as well—though I went back to version 610.88. The previous driver worked much better for me.
How severe was the performance drop for you?
The update has actually been excellent on my RTX 3080, especially for 1% lows. If you’re having trouble, a clean reinstall with Display Driver Uninstaller may be worth trying before deciding the driver is faulty.
Which graphics card are you using? Different RTX models may be affected differently.
