How can I get my iPad A16 to run Morimens and Limbus Company better?

I have an iPad with an A16 chip running iOS 27.0. It is nearly empty aside from Morimens and Limbus Company, but both games run extremely poorly and are barely playable. I mainly bought the iPad for these games and would appreciate simple troubleshooting steps, since I'm not very familiar with technical settings. I can provide more information if needed.

Morimens and Limbus Company may simply have optimization problems on some iPad models, so having plenty of free storage doesn’t guarantee smooth performance. First, restart the iPad, update both games, and check for another system update. Also close other apps, disable Low Power Mode, and try lowering the games’ graphics, resolution, frame rate, and effects settings if those options are available.

Check whether the iPad is getting hot while you play. Heat can make the processor slow down, especially if the device is charging or inside a case. Try playing while it’s cool, remove the case temporarily, avoid charging during gameplay, and leave some free storage available. If both games still stutter badly after reinstalling them, the issue may be game compatibility or optimization rather than something wrong with your iPad.
