I have an iPad with the A16 chip running iOS 27.0. It is mostly empty and only has two games installed, Morimens and Limbus Company, but both games run extremely poorly and are barely playable. I bought the iPad mainly for these games, so I'm hoping there are settings or troubleshooting steps that could improve its performance. I'm not very experienced with technology, so simple instructions would be especially helpful.

Since the iPad has plenty of free storage and an A16 chip, the issue may be the games themselves rather than the device. Both Morimens and Limbus Company can have optimization or compatibility problems on some iPads. First, make sure iPadOS and both games are fully updated, then restart the iPad. In each game, lower graphics quality, resolution, effects, and frame rate if those options are available.
Also check whether Low Power Mode is enabled, since it can limit performance. Go to Settings > Battery and turn it off while playing. Close other apps, avoid playing while the iPad is hot or charging, and try reinstalling one of the games if it still performs badly. If the games remain nearly unusable after that, contacting the game developers may be necessary because a software optimization issue could be the real cause.
