My Lenovo laptop came with a Windows utility that could stop charging once the battery reached 80%, which helps reduce battery wear. I'm now using Zorin OS 18.1 and would like to know whether there's an equivalent app or graphical tool for setting a battery charging limit.

TLP is a good option for this. Install it with `sudo apt install tlp tlp-rdw`, then edit `/etc/tlp.conf` and set the battery thresholds, for example `START_CHARGE_THRESH_BAT0=75` and `STOP_CHARGE_THRESH_BAT0=80`. Apply the configuration with `sudo tlp start`. You can install TLPUI as a graphical front end if you prefer not to edit the configuration manually. Whether this works depends on your Lenovo model and its firmware support for charge thresholds.

Thanks! I’ll install TLP and check whether my Lenovo model supports those charging thresholds.
