I'm putting together a PC with an ASRock H610M-HVS/M.2 R2.0 motherboard, an Intel Core i3-12100F, a GTX 1050 Ti connected to the monitor over HDMI, and 16GB of RAM in two 8GB sticks. Would a 600W power supply be sufficient for this setup?

Even systems with considerably more powerful processors and graphics cards can run on a quality 500W unit, so 600W is comfortably sufficient here. Just make sure the power supply is from a reputable manufacturer and has the necessary connectors.

Yes, 600W is more than enough for those components. This system has relatively modest power requirements, so a decent-quality 600W unit should provide plenty of headroom.

You could use a larger power supply if you want extra capacity for future upgrades, but it isn’t necessary for this build. The motherboard and case may limit how worthwhile major upgrades would be, so buying a reliable, appropriately rated unit matters more than simply choosing a higher wattage.

That makes sense. I’ll focus on getting a good-quality unit rather than going much higher in wattage.
