My website, fishingcharterbiloxi.com, is live and working normally for visitors, but I can't properly edit it in the WordPress backend. I've tried opening it through Elementor and other editor options, but the homepage appears as raw code instead of clickable content blocks. I also can't edit the header or footer, and I need to replace photos and adjust image or section sizes. I'm looking for help identifying whether the problem is caused by Elementor, WordPress settings, the theme, a plugin conflict, or user permissions. Ideally, I'd like the backend restored so I can safely update text, images, pages, headers, and footers without changing the live site unexpectedly.

First check which editor is actually opening the page. If you’re seeing raw HTML or shortcode text, WordPress may be opening the page in a code or text editor rather than Elementor’s visual editor. Look for an “Edit with Elementor” option on the page or in the Pages list. If that option is missing, Elementor may not be enabled for that page, or the theme may use a different builder for the homepage, header, and footer. Also check that your account has administrator-level permissions.

I can access the WordPress controls, but the homepage itself is displayed as code and I can’t click individual items to edit them. I’m mainly trying to replace photos and correct their sizing.
