Which CPU is better for music production: Core i7-14700K or Core Ultra 7 265K?

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU for music production and I've narrowed it down to the Intel Core i7-14700K and the Core Ultra 7 265K. In the past, I've had some issues with AMD CPUs while rendering larger audio projects, and I need Thunderbolt support for my setup. While I'm aware that the 14900K is an option available at a decent price, I'm really focused on performance for music production rather than gaming. I'm leaning towards the Core Ultra 265K because it allows me to save some money and pair it with a B860 motherboard that still supports Thunderbolt. I want to know which of these two CPUs would be the best choice for my needs.

The 265K is a great deal right now. Amazon has it for $269, which is hard to beat, especially with the issues surrounding Raptor Lake. Plus, I've heard Microcenter is offering discounts on motherboards when you buy the 265K, which sweetens the deal even more!

Yeah, it's like they want to make it even cheaper for you! Definitely worth considering.

I'd go for the 265K personally. Intel's 13th and 14th gen have had some stability issues that make me hesitant to recommend them.
