Hey everyone! I'm planning to build a new PC in a couple of months with a Ryzen 5 7600, 32GB of RAM, and I'm torn between the 5070 and 9070 GPUs. I've heard mixed opinions about AMD, particularly that the 9070 might not be the best for streaming. Is that true? What do you all think? Which GPU do you prefer for streaming, the 5070 or 9070?

The 9070 can handle streaming fine but isn't the best out there. NVIDIA's NVENC is generally superior to AMD's encoding. If you’re thinking of going serious with streaming, I'd lean towards NVIDIA for better overall performance.
If you're focusing on streaming and ray tracing, the 5070 would be better. However, if you prioritize raster performance and VRAM, then the 9070 is the way to go.
From my experience, NVENC is crucial for streaming, especially if you're playing CPU-intensive games. Streaming on a Radeon laptop can be challenging at times. I'd recommend going for NVIDIA to save yourself the headaches!
Curious what your specs are?
Not everyone thinks that. In fact, you should consider a better CPU and more RAM. Two larger RAM sticks are usually more reliable for XMP profiles, compared to four smaller ones. When it comes to choosing between the 5070 and 9070, it really depends on personal preference and availability. Don't listen to generalizations about AMD versus NVIDIA; focus on the specific cards instead!
The RX 9000 series actually has an improved encoder quality which is great for streaming! You might want to check out some reviews or performance tests before deciding.
Thanks bro, god bless you!
