Hey everyone! I just picked up a 9070xt to upgrade my PC, but now I need to replace some of the other parts to make sure everything works well together. Right now, my setup includes a Gigabyte H510M motherboard, an Intel i5-11400 CPU, 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM, and a Seasonic GC 650w Gold PSU. I've been using a 1080p monitor, but I'm also on the lookout for a decent 1440p 144Hz monitor that won't break the bank. Can you all recommend some good parts that would pair nicely with the 9070xt? I'm hoping to stick to a budget since the GPU wasn't cheap. Thanks a ton!

If you're looking for great bang for your buck, I’d suggest the Ryzen 7 7700 non-X or the 7900 non-X with the Wraith Prism cooler. Pair it with a B650 board like the Gaming Plus Wifi from MSI. As for RAM, a Flare X5 6000 MHz CL30 32GB kit would do the trick! You might want to consider an 850W PSU for stability — brands like Thermaltake and MSI are generally good bets!
This might sound a bit odd, but have you already tested the 9070xt in your current build? It might perform well enough for now, so you could wait and upgrade parts as needed later. If it needs a CPU upgrade, look into some used options. An i5 should still serve you well, but if you're going all out, keep in mind a full system upgrade could get pricey.
I ordered it today, so I haven't had a chance to test it yet. Plus, I really need a PSU upgrade first.
I think you should consider upgrading to a Ryzen 5 9600x along with some 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM and a decent B650 motherboard. You can often find good bundles for those components which might save you some cash. Just a heads up, you might also need to upgrade your PSU!
Thanks! Is the MSI Pro B650M-B Micro-ATX good enough?
You really need to clarify what your budget is for the upgrades. That would help narrow down the options!
Is 400€ enough, not counting the monitor? I think my priority should be replacing the PSU since mine has low voltage and isn't fully modular.
But isn't the 7900 the worst value for gaming? There are way better options!
